Beto's Mexican Restaurant has mouthwatering Tex-Mex entrees such as the Southwest Sampler ($8.99) with bean and cheese nachos, mini flautitas and fajita quesadillas dressed with sour cream and pico de gallo. Or the chicken flautitas with tender bits of meat; the quesadillas held together nicely, with Monterey Jack and cheddar cheeses, bell peppers and onions inside the flour tortillas. The atmosphere is festive, with exposed ceilings, bright neon lights, murals and other cantina-style decorations dotting the establishment. Lunch specials starting at $4.99 are served Monday through Saturday until 3 p.m. Beto’s makes it pretty easy to leave feeling full of fine food and still have some stuffing in your wallet.
